Luthiery Courses

The courses are available in two formats: IN-PERSON at my workshop and ONLINE through tutorial videos.

The IN-PERSON format broadens the range of models to build, although statistically most students choose to build an elevated-neck guitar of my design, including the bracing and the mold, all with the same specifications as my instruments.

The student receives a written document about the construction of my elevated-neck guitar, along with all the plans to replicate it in the future.

Safety in construction and guidance throughout the process, along with the enriching experience of group work, are the advantages of the “IN-PERSON” format.

The average duration is one and a half years, depending on personal experience and ability.

The ONLINE format is delivered through tutorial videos that meticulously show all the details and steps involved in constructing an elevated-neck guitar.

Estos videos son apoyados por un tratado escrito que se envía al alumno en donde se detalla paso a paso lo visto en imágenes.

Along with the delivery of plans and templates needed to build the top, back, neck, etc., offering a complete course that not only covers the specific carpentry of the instrument but also helps you master the sound of your future creations through an in-depth study of the designs of the great masters and a thorough understanding of wood and its effects.
